Polyethylene Pipes

Raw materials used in the production of polyethylene pipes and fittings are classified with MRS (Minimum Required Strength) according to mechanical strength criteria. MRS is the resistance value of the material to internal pressure at 20°C for 50 years. In PE pipe networks, the safety coefficient is determined according to the class of raw material and the condition of the network and all calculations are made according to this coefficient. Safety coefficient in natural gas networks is taken as C=2.0, safety coefficient in drinking water transmission lines is taken as C=1.25.
